Sommers re-nominated for CFTC
President Obama has nominated Jill Sommers to serve another term as a commissioner at the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Her first term began in August, 2007 and expired in April. The Commission consists of five commissioners appointed by the President and approved by the Senate. Currently, there is one vacancy after Walt Lukken resigned on July 10.
